Please bring back Jerry Trupiano!

I'm a die hard Red Sox fan, have been for close to 40 years now. Like most fans and New Englanders, we don't like change. Whenever a game is not on NESN (i.e. Fox) I turn the sound down and put on WRKO, well low and behold, this year, I turned it on, there was Joe Castiglione, but then, where was that "Swing and a drive...Way Back! Way Back!" It was GONE!

I did some searching to find out who these new announcers were Dave O'Brien and/or Glenn Geffner.

To put it simply; "These guys suck"

The Red Sox ownership have been great, but they BLEW this one totally (almost as much as Willy "No" Pena

Joe & Jerry were a staple, please bring him back!

Boston/Philadelphia/New York/Camden Area Traffic Plugin for Trillian

I wrote a plugin for Trillian. That was a real PITA. Anyhow; the plugin scrapes data from the SmarTraveler website and presents it within the Trillian UI.



I wrote the plugin in Visual Studio 2005 in C++. The Trillian API really sucks; but here is a link
to the only online one that worked when I wrote the plugin.

You can configure the routes you are interested in via the Trillian Preferences for the plugin.

Trillian Traffic Plugin

To get started; you will need Trillian Pro. Trillian Basic does not support plugins.

The plugin can be found here:

To install the plugin unzip the file into your Trillian folder:

It is usually; c:\program files\trillian

Then; Enable the plugin from the Trillian Preferences.
